Each year, on the third Sunday of May, it is customary to remember people who died of AIDS. It’s being done for among other things, in order to draw the world's attention to the problems of AIDS patients and people living with HIV, as well as to the spread of this disease in the world.
On May 22, 2019, the activists of the Standing Committee on Reproductive Health, including HIV / AIDS, SCORA KazMSA held the event “World AIDS Remembrance Day’ ’.
The main purpose of this event was to draw attention to the spread of the world problem of AIDS patients in order to warn people about the risk of infection and teach them to avoid danger.
During the event, SCORA activists held lectures, organized various trainings with the participation of students. Each student was given red ribbons, which are a symbol of the fight against AIDS, as well as brochures containing information about AIDS. And at the present time on the World Day of Remembrance of the Victims of AIDS, activists of this action and simply not indifferent people attach red ribbons to their clothes.
