Every year on the second Thursday of March, millions of people around the world celebrate World Kidney Day. Established in 2006, this global initiative is becoming increasingly popular every year. Chronic renal failure is one of the most common diseases, but many people are unaware of the seriousness of this problem. Prevention is needed, information campaigns aimed at raising the awareness of the general public about the importance of kidneys for health and kidney diseases, which are often caused by improper lifestyle. On the eve of the World Kidney Day, which this year is celebrated on March 14, students of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after professor Tapbergenov S.О. (244 g. GM) March 11, together with the curator R.R. Olzhayeva, discussed measures for the prevention of kidney disease. Remember the rules that are important to observe, taking care of your health, including the kidneys:
1.regularly drink at least 1.5-2 liters of clean drinking water to facilitate the washing of the kidneys; 2. at least once a year to make blood and urine tests to monitor the condition of the kidneys, to detect any negative changes in a timely manner and to level them by doctor's prescription; 3. to lead a healthy, active lifestyle, not to create stagnant processes in the body; 4. take care of proper nutrition, trying to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits; 5. give up bad habits; 6. monitor blood pressure and body weight; 7 Do not take diuretics without a prescription; 8. Do not abuse your stay in the sun, do not allow hypothermia of the lumbar region, pelvic organs and legs; 9. Protect yourself from contact with organic solvents, heavy metals, at work and at home, use protective equipment; 10. Do not self-medicate, do not get carried away with food additives. Normal kidney function is important to our health!
