Dana Mukasheva Syilemeneva

Suleimeneva Dametken Mukashevna, PhD, Associate professor, dentist of the highest category

Graduated in 1991 from the Dental Faculty of the Alma-Ata State Medical Institute. After completing the internship, she was accepted to the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of the SSMI.

Since 1994, she has been acting as the head of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry with the course of Pediatric Dentistry. Since 1998, Head of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, then until 2011, Head of the Department of Therapeutic and Orthopedic Dentistry. Graduated from graduate school of KazNMU Almaty in 2002. In 2004, S.D.Asfendiyarov KazNMU defended her PhD thesis. By the decision of the Committee for Control in the Field of education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 22.06.2009, he was awarded the title of associate professor in the specialty “Medicine”.

She has published more than 140 scientific papers, including those with an impact factor and joint ones with doctors of practical healthcare, students and interns, 11 textbooks, 2 innovative proposals for the treatment of the oral mucosa, I have an author’s certificate. The winner of the competition “Best lecturer”-2nd place in the 2013-2014 academic year, 1st place – “Best lecturer” in the 2014-2015 academic year. For many years, the winner of the “Best Associate Professor” competition, according to the results of the rating of research activities in the nomination “The highest impact factor of the 2015 article on “Web of Science” – 1st place (impact factor 9).

I have awards in the form of diplomas, letters of thanks, for my contribution to the development of Kazakhstan dentistry”Silver Medal of the KSA”, “Gold Medal of the KSA”, awarded the badge “For contribution to the development of healthcare”.

Brief Information about Department

In January 1991, by Order No. 128 of 01.01.91 of the Ministry of Education “On the organization of the Dental Faculty”, a dental faculty was organized at the Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute, which included the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry, the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, the Department of Surgical Dentistry, the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. The Department of Surgical Dentistry is located on the basis of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the regional Clinical Hospital, headed by associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Shinbirev N.A.. The Department of Therapeutic Dentistry was headed by associate professor, PhD Kopbaeva M.T. the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry was headed by associate professor, PhD Sydygaliev K.M. The dean of the faculty was appointed Professor, MD Zhanybekov D.E. (Head of the Department of Normal Anatomy), who led the faculty for 10 years. From 1992 to 1994, the Department of Surgical Dentistry was headed by Associate Professor Kurmangaliev Z.K. In 1998, the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry was headed by Suleimeneva D.M. In 2008, two departments were created: the Department of Therapeutic and Orthopedic Dentistry, headed by Associate Professor Suleimeneva D.M. and the Department of Surgical and Pediatric Dentistry, under the leadership of Associate Professor Abralina Sh.Sh. In 2011, after the merger of the departments, the Department of Dental Disciplines was created, headed by Associate Professor Abralina Sh.Sh. In 20018, the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry (head-Associate Professor N.B. Haidarova), the Department of Orthopedic, Surgical Dentistry and ChLH (head-Candidate of Medical Sciences Berekenova G.A.), pediatric dentistry (head-associate professor Abralina Sh.Sh. until 2021, from 2021 to 2022. the Department of Pediatric Dentistry was headed by associate professor Suleimeneva D.M.. In 2022, all departments in the specialty “Dentistry” were merged into the Department of Dental Disciplines and ChLH, associate professor Suleimeneva D.M. passed the competition for the head.
Currently, the Department of Dental Disciplines and ChLH unites four disciplines – therapeutic, surgical, orthopedic and pediatric dentistry. The department consists of 19 teaching staff, 6 of which have an academic degree: head of the department, PhD, associate professor Suleimeneva D.M., associate professor Abralina Sh.Sh., associate professor Haidarova N.B., PhD professor Saimova A.Zh., PhD Akhmetov S.R., Sadvakasova L.M.

Training is conducted in bachelor’s degree, internship, master’s degree, residency.

 

Tasks, functions of the department

The Department is the main educational and scientific structural unit of the University, ensuring the implementation of educational, educational, methodological, research and other processes.

The main tasks solved by the department are:

  • organization and implementation at a high level of educational, scientific, methodological, clinical, educational work, professional development of teachers;
  • conducting exams and tests, analyzing the results;
  • equipping the clinical base with modern equipment, auxiliary materials for the development of manual skills of students and teaching staff of the department;
  • support of the high moral and ethical status of the department;
  • maintenance of effective functioning, continuous development and improvement of the effectiveness of educational, methodological and scientific activities of the department in accordance with the requirements of the standards;
  • determination of the responsibility of each employee for the quality of work performed, the fullest possible involvement of staff in achieving the goals of the department;
  • professional development of the teaching staff.

The main functions of the department are:

  • preparation and conduct of training sessions, according to the SSO;
  • development and release of educational and methodological documentation, manuals;
  • conducting classroom training sessions (lectures, practical classes, seminars, laboratory work in accordance with the academic load and according to the schedule approved by the Rector or Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs);
  • implementation of student counseling in accordance with the established procedure;
  • implementation of intermediate and final certification of students in the form of tests and exams based on the results of their mastering of educational material;
  • implementation of the planned amount of educational and methodological work that ensures the conduct of the educational process at a high level (development and submission for approval of working curricula, preparation and updating of textbooks / methodological materials for conducting training sessions / performing independent work by students);
  • development of annual and long-term professional development plans for the department’s employees, submitting them for approval to the vice-rector for Academic Affairs, organization and control of their implementation;
  • participation in exhibitions and conferences;
  • implementation of the educational process among students (cadets), including through the curatorial system operating at the University, interacting with student public organizations, the Council of Young Scientists, participating in events provided for by the annual plans of educational and extracurricular work with University students;
  • representation of the interests of the staff of the department in the management bodies of the University and in other organizations;
  • control over the elimination of inconsistencies identified during the audit (verification);
  • preparation of various reports on the work done;
  • implementation of other functions arising from the specifics of the department’s activities.

Khaidarova Nurzhanat Bidakhmetovna – graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Alma-Ata State Medical Institute in 1989. After graduation, she completed a one-year internship at the OSP of Semipalatinsk. From 1989 to August 1992, she worked as a dentist in the regional dental clinic. In August 1992, she was accepted as an assistant at the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of the Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute. From 1992 to 2010, she served as the head teacher of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry with the course of pediatric Dentistry. After completing her postgraduate studies, in 2006, at KazNMU, Almaty, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Justification for the use of carbon sorbent in the complex treatment of periodontal diseases”. By the decision of the Committee for Control in the Field of education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 26.04.2006, the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences was awarded. The title of associate professor was awarded by the decision of the Committee for Control in the Field of education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 23.09.2010 in the specialty “Medicine”. Since 2010, she has been responsible for internship at the Faculty of Dentistry.

She has published more than 100 scientific papers, including those with an impact factor, 15 textbooks, 2 pre-patents on the method of treatment of periodontal diseases, 1 author’s certificate on the method of treatment of diseases of the oral mucosa. Member of the Semipalatinsk city branch of the public association “Kazakhstan Dental Association”, awarded the silver medal “Stomatologiyadagi eren enbegi ushin”. For many years he has been the winner in the nomination “Best Associate Professor”.

Activities of the sphere: preparation of the discipline “Clinical Orthodontics”, “Dentistry of the child’s age” and “Orthodontics”.

In 1991, Almaty State Medical Institute for specialty “Dentistry”was completed.

Works at the Department of pediatric dentistry since 1995.

There are 20 scientific works, 3 Acts of introduction, 2 innovative proposals, 12 methodological recommendations for 5-year students and interns of dental faculties (in Russian and Kazakh language).

It is the turn of the department, responsible for the SMK Department, director of the orthodontics commission, responsible for the discipline “Orthodontics” of the 6th year.

He has certificates, charitable works, was awarded an honorary sign of the state enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “excellent healthcare worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and Doctor of Medical Sciences.

I. N. Rakhimzhanov is the author of more than 10 publications in the CIS and the Republic.

Syzdykayeva Sayrangul Makhmutovna – Assistant of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of Semey State Medical University. Graduated in 1993 from the Dental faculty of the Alma-Ata State Medical Institute. From 1993 to the present, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry. Dentist-therapist of the highest category, 25 years old. The head of the production practice in 2-4 courses in the discipline “Therapeutic dentistry”, responsible for the medical work at the department, conducts a medical consultation using modern dental materials and technologies.

She has more than 30 scientific papers (including with an impact factor), 6 textbooks in Russian, Kazakh and English, Constantly improves his pedagogical and professional skills by passing the FPC in Almaty, on field cycles, specialization courses, seminars, master classes conducted by ASIPO, AGIUV, Semey State Medical University. Member of the Semipalatinsk city branch of the public association “Kazakhstan Dental Association”, awarded the silver medal “Stomatologiyadagi eren enbegi ushin”.   10. under the guidance of a professor, associate professor, senior lecturer (curator of a discipline) organization and planning of methodological and technical support of training sessions;
  11. formation of students’ skills to work with educational, special, scientific literature, manuals, training to independently conduct experiments and summarize the results obtained;
  12. participation in seminars, meetings and conferences organized within the scope of the department’s research areas, including international ones, directed from the department;
  13. participation in the provision of medical, consultative and diagnostic assistance to patients at clinical bases;
  14. conducting medical work: receiving outpatient and/or inpatient patients, performing medical procedures in accordance with the specialty, performing operations, participating in the rounds of professors, associate professors, five-minute sessions, consulting profile patients, processing current medical documentation (certificates, referrals to commissions, etc.);
  15. preparation and submission of a report on the implementation individual plan;
  16. analysis of the results of the department’s activities according to the established goals, performance indicators of the department, University processes and reporting to higher management;
  17. provision of labor resources for employees of the department: determination of the need for material and technical means and preparation of applications for their acquisition;

Symbat Kamalkanovich Kabdykanov

Doctor dentist-orthopedist of the highest category, medical experience – 26 years, scientific and pedagogical experience – 18 years.

He is an advisor to the Faculty of Dentistry, coordinator of the 4th year of the Faculty of Dentistry. Member Of The Kazakhstan Association Of Dentists. Responsible for the documentation of the internship on the discipline “orthopedic dentistry”, which is a medical and consulting service using modern dental materials and technologies.

There are more than 20 scientific jobs and innovative proposals. More than 5 textbooks have been published in the Kazakh language, a textbook on dental technology has been prepared in the Kazakh language, and a textbook “treatment of diseases without complete teeth in orthopedic dentistry” by A. P. Voronov, I. Y. Lebedenko has been translated into the Kazakh language.

 

Kabdykanov Simbat Kamalkanovich was graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of Karaganda State Medical Institute in 1995, from 1995 to 2003 worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of orthopedic Dentistry of the SSMA. Since 2003, he has been an assistant at the Department of dental disciplines. From 2005 to 2007, he worked as a deputy dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, simultaneously performed the duties of the current Department of orthopedic dentistry.

Sadvokasova Lyazat Mendybayevna graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of Karaganda State Medical Institute in 1991. Since September 1996, he has been working at the Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute as an assistant of the Department. Since 1998, he has been the head of the course of surgical dentistry. In 2010, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic:”clinical and immunological substantiation of immunocorrigating therapy of atypical passing odontogenic osteomyelitis”. He has published more than 75 scientific papers, including: with Impact Factor, 4 textbooks, 2 Innovative Patents, 3 innovative proposals, participated in the development of 9 clinical protocols for diagnosis and treatment of Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2017, she completed an educational internship on the topic”health insurance of Switzerland and France”. He was awarded the silver medal” Eren enbegi ushin in dentistry”, in 2017-the medal” for contribution to the development of healthcare in Kazakhstan”, certificates of regional and regional level. For many years, he has been the winner of the Nomination “Best Assistant”, “best teacher in scientific work”. Independent accredited expert of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of assessment of the quality of medical services by healthcare entities.
