Stomatology faculty was opened in 1991 by Order №128 from 01.01.1991 Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan. Licence АА №0000046 from 08.07.2002  –  withoutlimit. Professor D.E.Zhanibekov (1991-2002) a head of chair of normal anatomy SSMI was the first dean of Stomatology faculty.

Professor B.A.Zhetpisbaev was Dean of pediatric and stomatology faculties  from 2002 till 2005, vice-dean – associate professors T.K.Aldabergenova, O.Z.Ilderbaev, S.K.Kabdykanov.

Associate professor I.M.Efendiyev was a Dean of stomatology department in 2005-2007. From 2007 till present time associate professor A.S.Orazalina is a Dean of Stomatology Faculty. There are 16 graduate courses of doctor-stomatology.
