On November 23, a round table in group 2423 was held on the topic “Religion and secular society”. During the round table, issues of the relationship between the norms of law and religious norms, as well as the relationship between religion and the state, religious organizations and society were discussed.
The curator of the group, R. Yekibayev, introduced the students to the main directions of the Concept of State Policy in the Religious Sphere for 2017-2020, the development of the secular foundations of the state and the prevention of the use of religion for destructive purposes.
Students noted that, in a secular country, religion and the state are separated from each other, the state does not interfere in the affairs of religion.
