On Tuesday, 6 November 2018, students of the foreign department of our university traditionally celebrated the great and significant holiday of Dipawali. The name in Sanskrit means “fiery cluster” – it is a festival of lights, commonly celebrated in India and symbolizing the victory of light over darkness, good over evil. Diwali is also celebrated by Muslims who celebrate the coming of Goddess Lakshmi with lights and playing cards and bones, because Lakshmi brings good luck. On this festival of light, the streets of cities and villages are lit up with thousands of lights and fireworks. The air is shaken by explosions of rockets, firecrackers.
This year special guests were parents of students Koshlaya and Kavita (3 course, group 358), who came from India – Sohan Lal Yogi, Rajendra Pachar and Maina Devi. They stayed in the hostel with students, saw the hostel facilities. They also visited the university, met The Dean Nurtazina A.U., Vice- Dean Shakirova B.T. and employees of the dean's office Uristemova A.K and Migina L.E. Respected parents congratulated all the students and wished them a successfull life.
