«Arbor Day» is a kind of a holiday that is celebrated in a number of countries around the world and is connected with tree planting, restoration of lost forests or the desire to plant and cultivate urban and suburban areas: parks, squares, etc. The university took over the determination of the sites for planting, provided with planting material, the workers prepared the soil. Volunteers were given an inventory, instructed how to plant the tree correctly.
The purpose of this event is to improve the territory where we spend almost the whole day, support the idea of forest regeneration, promote ecological education and develop a culture of behavior in forests, forest plantations, parks. In Kazakhstan, the "National Forest Planting Day" is celebrated twice a year (in spring and autumn), in April and September. But in connection with the weather conditions, we held this action in May. We are sure that our seedlings will get accustomed and will please us.
